Jennifer and Jared's 20 point checklist for your peace of mind

You have probably never given much thought to just how much time and effort you put into your cat's good health and happiness. I have!

When you are gone, many things have to be done on a daily basis to make certain your cats are safe, secure, comfortable and happy. I go through a 20 point checklist every time I visit with your cats.

This list includes:

• Releasing your security system
• Bringing in the newspapers
• Bringing in the mail
• Giving each cat clean, fresh water
• Giving each cat the proper amount of food
• Making sure your cats are eating
• Restoring the supplies in the proper place
• Giving treats (if allowed)
• Cleaning up any accidents that may occur
• Watering plants
• Having playtime with each cat
• Cleaning the litter box
• Forwarding messages, if requested
• Checking doors and windows
• Changing the light arrangement
• Making sure cats are in their proper places
• Making notes for owners
• Administering medication, if needed
• Re-locking the house
• Restoring the security system

You do most of these things automatically when you are home. Isn't it comforting to know that someone is going to go through a checklist each day and do them for you while you're away?
